Emergency Stabilisation

The app crashes. The developer is gone. The store rejects the build.

Emergency stabilisation brings an iOS app that crashes or can no longer be released back to a stable state in the store. It starts with a 48-hour analysis; after that I quote a fixed price for the stabilisation. Duration from one week, depending on the state of the app.

Duration
from 1 week
Price
Fixed price after 48h analysis
Outcome
A working, stable app in the store
When this package fits
  1. The app crashes after an iOS update or SDK change, and the ratings are sliding.

  2. The previous developer is no longer reachable. Nobody can build, nobody can release.

  3. The store rejects the build, and the release is blocked.

  4. A critical bug is live in production, and the cause is unclear.

Process
  1. 0130 minutes

    First conversation

You describe the situation. I tell you whether the package fits, and what I need for the analysis.

  2. 0248 hours

    Analysis

Set up access, get the build running, narrow down the causes. You then receive a written fixed-price quote for the stabilisation.

  3. 03from 1 week

    Stabilisation

Fix the defects, restore releasability, submit to the store — including App Review communication if needed.

  4. 04at the end

    Handover

Documented changes, a buildable project and a recommendation on what to stabilise or modernise next.

Outcome

At the end there is a working, stable app in the store, and a project that can be built and released again. All changes are documented so that your team or a successor can take over without guesswork. If the analysis shows structural causes beyond the emergency, they go into the closing report: as a recommendation, not as a hidden extension.

Frequently asked questions
How fast can you start?
At short notice in acute cases. The 48-hour analysis starts as soon as access is in place. Whether there is currently a queue, you learn in the first conversation, not afterwards.
The previous developer is unreachable. Is what we have enough?
That is the most common starting point. What matters is the access that belongs to the company: App Store Connect, the code repository, possibly the backend. What is missing, we clarify in the first conversation — including what can be reconstructed.
What does the stabilisation cost?
A fixed price, quoted after the 48-hour analysis. Any number before that would be a guess. That is exactly why the analysis comes first.
The app was rejected by App Review. Does the package cover that?
Yes. Rejection causes such as guideline violations, privacy declarations or outdated SDK requirements are analysed and fixed, and the build is resubmitted.
